VirtualBox and Windows 8 Beta (Developer Edition)

There is a little trick to getting Windows 8 beta to install in VirtualBox. Open the machine settings and change the following in System:

  1. Set Chipset to ICH9
  2. Enable IO APIC
Ta-da, Windows 8 will now install
